Question:
One thing I'm not clear about from a cursory read of the manual:
Does the machine arrive ready to use, or do I have to set up filters, wheels or whatever other parts?
Answer:
The machine arrives ready to use. You don't need to do any additional setup or installation of filters, wheels, or other parts.

Question:
For how many washing cycles can I use the same originally-distilled water?
Answer:
We generally recommend changing the water after approximately 5-7 cleaning cycles. However, this can vary depending on the condition of your records. If your records are relatively clean or not excessively dirty, you may be able to reuse the water for additional cycles. If the records are heavily soiled or if the water appears discolored or visibly dirty, it is necessary to change to fresh water.

Question:
Is it important to have laboratory-level triple distilled water, or is it enough to have purified water as used in cars and steam ironing?
Answer:
To achieve the best cleaning results, we recommend using distilled water. Distilled water goes through a purification process where most of its mineral content and salt ions are removed. This ensures that the water used for cleaning is free from impurities that could potentially affect the surface of your records.
However, using purified water can still be effective for cleaning records, especially if it is of good quality and free from impurities. If you are using purified water, it's essential to ensure that it is free from any additives or impurities that could potentially harm the record surface. Please make your judgment.

Question:
As you explained to me before, the same water can be used approximately 5-7 cleaning cycles.
In the case I cleaned just a couple of records, and do not have more that I wish to clean at that time, though the water can be reused.
Do you recommend that I:
1. Keep the water in the machine, with the lid closed?
2. Keep the water in the machine, with the lid open?
3. Throw away the water, and have the lid closed?
4. Throw away the water, leaving the water tank open outside and the lid open, for everything to dry down?
I've thought about the latter as a preventive measure for preventing the accumulation of mold/fungi, which might be difficult to get rid of, once there.
Answer:
After cleaning your records, we recommend running the dry mode on the machine to remove the water from the water basin and transfer it to the small water tank. Once the water has been removed, we suggest keeping the lid of the machine open for a few hours or half a day to allow for proper drying. Once the machine is almost dry, you can then close the lid to prevent dust accumulation.
Regarding the water tank, you can keep the water inside for 2-5 days with the lid closed. The water filter in the water tank can filter out sediment or impurities. However, if you prefer to ensure maximum cleanliness, you can also choose to empty the water tank and leave it open outside for the water to completely dry out.
