Absolute DAC הוא ממיר העל של Ideon Audio. כמו כל מוצרי Ideon, הוא תוצר של פיתוח מקורי, תכנון מאפס, הקפדה גם על הפרט הקטן ביותר ובניה קפדנית. זהו ממיר המתוכנן ובנוי ללא פשרות, במטרה אחת: להביא את המוסיקה שבקבצים לחיים. האבסולוט מוצע כעת בגרסת "אפסילון" (לציון 5 שנים לחברת Ideon), בה ניכרים שיפורים בכל פרמטר אפשרי.
עם תכנון קפדני, re-clocking מובנה, שחזור אות הקלט, סינון רעשים ברמה בלתי מתפשרת, ספקי כח נפרדים לפונקציות השונות ורכיבים ברמה הגבוהה ביותר, אין פלא שאבסולוט הוא מוצר על. זמן קצר לאחר צאתו, הפך אבסולוט לאחד הממירים המובילים בעולם ופילס במהרה את דרכו אל ראש הפירמידה של הטובים ביותר שיש בנמצא. תחושת אמת, משקל (לכל כלי) ונוכחות מוסיקלית שלא פוגשים כל יום, טונליות טבעית, פרטים, דינמיקה ועוד – כל אלה נוכחים בו, שכן זהו מסוג המוצרים המייצרים מוסיקה, חד וחלק.
Absolute DAC מקבל אות דיגיטלי מכניסת USB (עד PCM 384KHz/32bit, Native DSD512), SPDIF, או AES/EBU. השניים האחרונים מתאימים גם ליציאות דיגיטליות מ CD Transport. אבסולוט מתוכנן ובנוי בתצורה Fully Balanced ולו יציאה אנלוגית Balanced (XLR) וכן יציאת Single-ended (RCA).

התיבה עשויה גוש אחד של אלומיניום (למעט המכסה העליון) המכורסם ע"י מכונת CNC – תהליך הנמשך 18 שעות. התוצאה היא תיבה מסיבית ומשוככת. המעגלים האלקטרוניים מבודדים אלה מאלה פיסית, חשמלית ומגנטית.
